Fairy Decor DIY: Faux Flower Chandelier
First on my magical journey is the Wisteria Flower Chandelier! This charming centerpiece adds whimsy and softness to any room.
How to: I found inexpensive faux wisteria flowers from walmart for around $7 per stem as well as a $1.25 round wreath frame from dollar tree. In the video above, you can see how easy it was to weave the stems in the wreath frame and hang it around my existing light using command hooks and wire. This created the perfect cozy, yet magical light feature for only $40 that is easy to change out seasonally or remove entirely later on if desired.
Pro tip: Buy more flowers than you think! I used 5 bundles for this plus some extra greenery to fill it in.

Cottage Core Craft: Moss Moon Phase Mirrors
Next, let’s talk about my enchanting Moss Moon Phase Mirrors. These were a breeze to create, adding a mystical touch to my office!
How to: I've had these moon phase mirrors for years in my office, but they needed a little extra magic! Simply use double sided tape to add some dried moss accents and fake flowers to transform these basic mirrors into fairy portals. I also added little crystals and these gold butterflies from Walmart for some extra sparkle!
Pro tip: use double sided tape! It holds the moss perfectly in place and makes this all removable so you won't damage the walls or mirrors!

Garden Inspired Decor: Snowdrop Flower Floor Lamp
Now, let’s discuss the craft that inspired this whole office transformation—my Snowdrop Flower Floor Lamp! This craft is a DIY dupe to a $180 Urban Outfitters lamp I admired but didn’t want to splurge on.
How to: I took a simple floor lamp I found at a Walmart for $15 and transformed it using green painters tape on the "stem" and some left over moss & mini mushrooms on the base. The snowdrop flower effect was created by cutting a scallop edge into the existing plastic lamp shade. Super simple but so impactful and cute! I also added a mossy base using
The soft glow of this lamp, paired with the floral design, makes me feel like I'm sitting in a fairy tale every time I turn it on!
Pro Tip: If the plastic lamp shade is too thick to cut, try using recycled plastic to create your flower petals and leaves instead! This opens up a world of possibilities so you can truly customize this lamp into any flower you want!

Easy Magical DIY: Mini Mushroom Lamp
For just $10, I found a dome lamp at Walmart and knew I had to add my special touch!
How to: To transform it, I cut out painters tape circles to preserve white spots on the lamp and then painted the whole top red. It was that easy but came out so cute!
The effect is enchanting and perfectly adds a sprinkle of magic to my desk.
Pro tip: buy two to make a matching set! I wish I did haha

Speaking of my desk, I added some extra moss and fake ferns to the front to give it that forest vibe. (see video above for the before an after on this one!) Again using double sided tape so it is all removable if in the future I want to change it. Those two bags of moss go far and were used multiple times in this transformation. It is such an easy way to add some fairy forest vibes to any space!

Cozy Forest Craft: Succulent Crochet Pillow
I've always appreciated the warm feel of crochet, so I decided to make a succulent crochet pillow to tie everything together.
How to: I created this pattern myself using a 6 weight bulky yarn and 8mm hook. But this one online looks very similar and easy to do if you are an intermediate beginners crocheter.
More ideas: Make this mushrooms pillow, charging cable covers, sunflowers, or the other ideas I saved to this Pinterest board for you!

FREE Foraged DIY: Mossy Stump Side Table
Lastly, I wanted to add some nature to my office with my mossy stump side table next to my meditation space.
How to: Find a stump (luckily we had some from a neighbor who had to cut down a tree - check with your local arborist or even Facebook marketplace for one). Sand the top to create a smooth surface and seal with clear laquer spray. That's it! I just added some moss in the cracks and little fairy decor from dollar tree for that extra magical touch!
This simple piece serves as both a side table and an attention-grabbing decor item!

Bonus Ideas to Transform Your Space Into a Whimsical Fairy Forest
